FAQ

All of our coffee is single-origin and sourced from the beautiful Tolima region of Colombia. Depending on the bag, our coffees can be traced back to one farm, one cooperative, or even one micro-lot.

Please note that we do not accept returns on roasted coffee. If there is an issue with your order please contact us as soon as possible at info@cafemosa.com.

We ship all across Canada and the US.

Glad you asked! "Mosa" is a snippet of the town "Villahermosa" where our founder's family farm is located. This where our story began and where multiple generations of our family have been growing delicious coffee for over 130 years.

While we would love to meet you, we don't currently off in-person pickup. But we do offer reduced-rate local delivery in Montréal

We implement a fair trade compensation model that is unique to Café Mosa. Instead of a premium that is added to the market price of coffee on any given day, we negotiate a equitable trade price based on the actual production costs, plus a quality premium for our coffees. This model allows for a more stable trade practice between buyers and small local producers.

We recommend "soft-method" preparation of our coffee, as is the norm in most South & Central American countries.

Chemex, Drip, Moka, French Press, Aero-press, etc. Your choice!

We find that it's the best way to really savour all of the flavours in your cup. But of course, you can use any of our coffees for your espresso as well.

However, we strongly recommend not grinding your coffee in order to seal in the flavour as long as possible. Grinding it the day you'll be using it would be ideal!

Tip: You may be able to bring your coffee to a local café and ask if they can grind it for you.

Yes! Please contact us at sales@cafemosa.com for wholesale inquiries.
